The project of Bir Usta Bin Usta aims to reintegrate the convicts to the society

The project of ‘Bir Usta Bin Usta’ that aims to revive and to bring into view the vanishing professions in Anatolia has began in Manisa Gördes Weaving Course, 7th October, 2013 at the Manisa E-Type Penal Institution.

Social responsibility project ‘Bir Usta Bin Usta’ that has been continuing for 4 years has been performed in a prison for the first time. In the context of the project, the weaving techniques and methods will be taught to 20 convicts. The project will continue for 6 months and within the project, it is desired that the convicts gain their self-confidence and reintegrate them to the society. The educator of the local part of the project will be Ahmet Akdeniz.
