Within the mission of promoting and spreading of Agricultural Insurance and conducting the necessary applications fast and accurate, in order to protect the farmers against the natural disasters and other risks, Agricultural Insurance Pool (TARSİM), has recorded 240 mn TL claim payment for 870 thousand policies in 2013. Crop Insurance branch has taken the first place in claim payment in 2013. TARSİM, has issued 870 thousand policies in 2013 and has already exceeded the amount of 3 mn policy holders; the number of the participants was 2.5 mn in 2012.Enlarging its scope
TARSİM has been promoting the farmers since the 1st of June 2006. As always enlarging its scope every year, loss of quantity arising from hail, storm, fire, tornado, flood, landslide and earthquake is undercover by TARSİM.
The number of the policies has been tripled since 2007
General Manager of TARSİM, Bülent Bora, said, “It is observed that the progress in the system is consistently increasing.
