Cansen Başaran-Symes took the chair in executive board of Allianz. Başaran-Symes has started presidency.
Turkey’s one of the insurance and pension company Allianz Sigorta and Allianz Hayat ve Emeklilik new chairman has been Cansel Başaran-Symes. Starting of her presidency as of March 25, 2014 Başaran-Symes will strengthen Allianz’s presence further away in Turkey with her innovative contributions.
Emphasizing that experience of leaders who bringing Allianz to future is important for company Başaran-Symes said: “ The values that has created till now will have important role for Allianz’s future. Furthermore being chairwoman of Allianz’s important market Turkey, is quite exciting for me.”
Başaran-Symes will provide better future to Allianz
Executive board member of Allianz Oliver Baete said, “ We believe in that Başaran-Symes will make more contribution with her domestic and international experience both for Allianz and Turkish insurance market. Cansen Başaran-Symes, working together with CEO of Allianz Turkey Solmaz Altın will provide better future.”
Who is Cansen Başaran-Symes
She worked as Chairman of PwC Turkey between 1998-2012 and she was responsible to company’s Turkey corporate actions, between the years 1990-2013 she worked as a partner of PwC. She took in charge in Copenhagen and London offices of PwC as well.
Moreover Başaran-Symes is actively board member of TÜSİAD. She is treasurer of TÜSİAD as well. Cansen Başaran-Symes has graduation degree from Faculty of Business Administration of Istanbul University. She is married and has one child.
