The economic loss due to the natural catastrophes in East Asia reached to 700 billion dollars. According to the report of Munich Re, it is said that the negative effects of the catastrophes can only be decreased by detractive strategies by the insurance sector. Executive Member of Munich Re, Ludger Arnoldussen, said, “These tough weather conditions show us the importance of analyzing them deeply. In that case, the governments and the insurers must develop new detractive strategies that decrease the losses.
