Generali Sigorta secured the railing, construction, electrical and mechanical systems of Marmaray Project with a provision of 1.5 billion euro with Construction All Risk policy. Generali Sigorta General Manager Mine Ayhan said that they had secured OHL, a company of Spain making the railing system in Marmaray Project which is one of the most significant transportation projects of the world. Ayhan said “The insurance provision of the 76 kilometer long line is 1.5 billion euro. Within the context of the project ‘Construction All Risk’ policy has been made for the enhancement, construction, electricity, and mechanical systems of Marmaray CR3-Gebze Halkalı lines.”
“We had shown our aggressiveness in significant projects”
Telling that they attributed importance to Marmaray insurance, Ayhan said “I believe that we had shown our aggressiveness in engineering projects in recent years by taking place in significant projects and with the significant amount of compensations we paid at the instance of damage. As Generali Sigorta, we are happy to make the ‘Construction All Risks’ policy of Marmaray Project.” Additionally telling that they had put among their targets to rise by 10 rows in 10 years and were prepared to make technology renovation investments for this Ayhan added that 2 million dollar worth investment would be made for the project to be completed in 5 years.
