The 75 million general health insurees will have to pay their own expenses for most of their medical treatments. At first step, it is planned to exclude ophthalmological and orthodontics treatments and some medicines from the insurance coverage in the 2014 program. On the other hand, the services which are out of the coverage, supplemental health insurance will set in.
Healthcare costs will increase
According to the authorities, this change of plan will be put into effect because of the rise of the health-care costs. To the statistics, the health-care costs per capita have increased to 566 dollars in 2012 which was 521 dollars in 2009 and it is estimated to increase more.
Supplemental health insurance will set in
According to the program, On the other hand, the services which are out of the coverage, supplemental health insurance will set in. The supplemental health insurance is a new application since 1 year and it is not a comprehensive application.
